Jafo rejected a request for Tsh 148 million to renovate the building
Minister of TAMISEMI Selemani Jafo has rejected a request for a budget of 148 million shillings for renovating the administrative building of the Shinyanga District Council hospital built a few years ago.
Jafo disagreed with the amount of the money since he said it was better to build a new building than to spend that amount for renovating a building again involving changing the Roof and restoring the colors of the walls alone.
However, when Jafo consulted the council's expert to give him an analysis of the costs but the expert failed to explain how they received the cost.
During the visit Jafo visited the construction of new hospital buildings erected after the district council received 1.5 billion shillings.
Jafo congratulated the Regional Governor Hon. Zainab Telack and the District Commissioner, Mr. Mintaeko Mboneko for the proper management of the funds and the successful construction of eight Modern Beautiful buildings.
In addition, Jafo has informed the people there that the good work done by the MP of Solwa Constituency. Ahmed and Member of the Special Chairs Hon Azzah Hilal has facilitated funding for the hospital as well as several health facilities in the Shinyanga council.
